During this Group session, we'll get deeply relaxed and take a journey to unlock your hidden potential to overcome barriers that keep you from achieving your ultimate creative success!
What is Hypnotherapy?
As some may not be as familiar with this method, it's nice to have an idea of how it works beforehand. First, don't worry, it's not like what you see on stage. I'm not going to make you bark like a dog or cluck like a chicken! Nor is it mind-control. Hypnotherapy just uses the body's natural state of hypnosis to help address and treat behavior on a subconscious level.
It's important to know that you are always in control of what is happening and aware of what is being said at all times. The mind doesn't accept what it doesn't know or believe, so you would never be open to anything you wouldn't normally be open to.
What to Expect
As a group, we'll discuss the complications you have been struggling with in regards to pursuing your projects. The more information we gain, the more we can use to expand our session in the guided, relaxing, hypnosis portion. This can be from procrastination, writer's block, confidence, fear of failure, or fear of success when it comes to completing your script, book, or creative venture.
We will explore different Hypnotherapy techniques to help you prepare for the session. Once the hypnosis session begins, I will guide you through relaxing imagery intended to assist in working through and letting go of current roadblocks, and bring forth confidence and self-assurance in completing your project. We will also dive deep and explore unearthed ideas and inspiration that you may have hidden just below the surface of your conscious awareness.
The BIG Question: "Can I be hypnotized?"
Since this is a natural state, the simple answer is yes! However, each person receives and processes information differently, which can affect how one is hypnotized. In this session, we'll break down the process of how hypnosis works and how we'll use it therapeutically.
What's fascinating is we are actually in hypnosis more often than we may think. If you were ever driving and missed your exit, or have been watching a movie and have been fully engulfed in what was happening, you've been in hypnosis! It allows our conscious mind to take a comfy, cozy, relaxing backseat and allows our subconscious mind to take center stage to explore behavior and to encourage the changes we wish to see.
It's important to know that Hypnotherapy is a team effort, whereas long as there is an openness to it working, there is a greater possibility of a successful session. Remember, our mind does not respond well with what it doesn't know or believe, and that goes for being open to the use of Hypnotherapy.
